Rolling Waves Taffy


is a design packaging exercise that calls
for a physically successful form inspired
by a movie.

The movie I was inspired by is Studio Ghibli’s Ponyo, and the animation style is one that I wanted to pay homage to. With colorful patterns and expressive type, the taffy felt like the right candy to design this idea around.
